How to use Morrow /
A practical path through Morrow, from the first input to a saved, reviewable result.
A friendly green identity and a detailed miniature solar home introduce the energy story. The next section lets visitors change assumptions and follow the calculated flows.
Before you begin
Begin with the brand experience, then follow its primary action into the interactive studio or private workspace.
Create an account in Morrow and work in its own private workspace. Accounts and records from another Lumia product are separate. People preparing an energy consultation and practitioners who want a clear way to discuss basic solar, load and battery relationships. It suits an assumption-led conversation or demonstration, rather than a procurement, tariff or engineering-design decision made from a single output.
Follow the workflow below to understand the application. Contact Lumia for a guided walkthrough; account access is private. An exported file reflects the record at the time of export.
Set a clearly named interval
Enter the solar and load power in kilowatts and choose the number of hours for which those values are held constant. Name the scenario for its assumptions, such as a sunny afternoon or an evening demand interval. A useful name explains the situation instead of implying that it is a forecast.
Describe the battery constraints
Set capacity and initial stored energy in kilowatt-hours, the charge or discharge power limit in kilowatts, and the one-way efficiency. Initial energy cannot exceed capacity. These inputs determine whether surplus solar can be stored and how much usable power the battery can supply during a deficit.
Inspect the balance and save alternatives
Review grid import or export, battery movement, ending energy and conversion losses alongside the visual flow. Save the scenario, change one or more assumptions and save a second named case. Use the comparison table to inspect both the input differences and their resulting energy balances.
Export and request a local review
Download a saved scenario PDF or select up to five saved scenarios for a consultation request. Enter the contact details requested by the form and review the selected names. The request preserves those scenario snapshots locally; it does not send an email or imply that a practitioner has accepted an appointment.
Operating the product
Label every scenario with the interval and assumptions it represents. Keep measured data, estimates and illustrative values distinguishable in the name or accompanying discussion, so the saved comparison does not acquire a misleading claim of precision.
Check units before interpreting a result. Kilowatts describe power; kilowatt-hours describe energy over time. The evening fixture imports 4.1 kW for two hours, which corresponds to 8.2 kWh, rather than two alternative estimates of the same quantity.
Change a small number of assumptions at a time when comparing alternatives. A simultaneous change in solar, load, battery and interval can produce an interesting picture while making it difficult to explain which input caused the result.
Save the intended scenario before including it in a consultation. If you later revise an assumption, the earlier consultation retains its snapshot; prepare a new request when the reviewer needs the revised set rather than assuming the old request updates itself.
Retain the exported inputs with the output when sharing a scenario. Before a real equipment or installation decision, establish the additional measurements, time-series modelling and professional review required for that decision.
